Lee Overton Obituary, Death –  It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lee Overton, a dedicated legal professional, community advocate, and proud Clinton resident, who died peacefully on April 22, 2025, at the age of 83.

Lee served the Clinton community as an attorney for over 57 years, offering counsel with fairness, integrity, and a deep sense of responsibility. He was not only a respected figure in the legal world but a mentor, friend, and advocate for countless individuals throughout his long career.

A proud U.S. Army veteran, Lee also contributed to the growth and development of Clinton through his work as co-founder of Hill Country Real Estate and through active involvement in civic organizations like the Clinton Jaycees and the Lions Club. His dedication to community improvement was lifelong and heartfelt.

Lee’s interests extended well beyond his profession. He was an enthusiastic traveler who explored the world with curiosity and joy, a passionate LSU football fan, and a devoted caretaker to his beloved pets. He found happiness in life’s simple pleasures and approached every endeavor with warmth and enthusiasm.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Saundra Picou Overton, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories, love, and service.

Lee Overton will be remembered not only for his professional achievements but for his genuine heart, community spirit, and the countless lives he touched over the years. He leaves behind a legacy rooted in compassion, service, and excellence.
