Joshua Welzbacher Obituary Jackson County, Death – With deep sadness, the family and friends of Joshua Welzbacher are mourning his tragic and untimely passing following a fatal truck crash on Monday evening, April 28, 2025, in Jackson County.
Joshua, 33, was riding in the back seat of a pickup truck traveling along Wade-Vancleave Road when the vehicle veered off the road and struck multiple trees. Upon impact, Joshua was ejected from the truck and died at the scene, according to Jackson County Sheriff John Ledbetter.
The driver, 31-year-old Adam Martindale, remained belted in the vehicle and was seriously injured. He was transported via airlift to USA Medical Center in Mobile, where he continues to receive treatment.
